He was predeceased by: his parents, John Archie and Dousia Houpe Turner; his son Michael L. Turner; his siblings, John Phillip Turner, Clarence Robert Turner (Gail), Margaret Alberta Turner Levell, Henry Arthur Turner, Leonard Steven Turner and John Archie Turner, Jr.; and his brother-in-law George Patterson.
He is survived by: his siblings, James L. Turner (Frances) of Raleigh, NC and Mildred A. Patterson of Somerset, N. J.; his brother-in-law John Levell of Victorville, CA; and his caregivers, Jeanne Turner of Hickory, NC, Monica Turner Lee of Upper Marlboro, MD and Pamela Turner Swindler of Greensboro, NC.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary (603 S Center St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
