With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Latimer Alexander III of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Cook Alexander; his wife Margaret Smith Alexander; and his sister Lenora A. Reavis. He is survived by: his children, Latimer Breck Alexander, IV (Robin) of High Point, Cheryl A. Matthews (Ron) of Statesville and Phillip Forrest Alexander (Bindy) of Huntersville; his grandchildren, Laura Flack (Michael), Latimer Alexander V (Mary Lea), David Alexander (Brianna), Kate Teel (Graham), Coleman Maglić (Dino), Kathleen Forehand (John), Matthew Alexander (Sydney) and Caroline Alexander (Reid Jamil); his great grandchildren, Lucy Flack, Alex Flack, Charlie Flack, Emerson Teel, Sloan Teel, Chandler Forehand, Caleb Forehand, Forrest Alexander and Clai Maglić; and his caregiver Bonnie Dalton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial UMC or to the Gordon Hospice House.
