It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Wilson Starnes of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Wilson Starnes and Margaret Galyan Starnes; his son Randy Starnes; his siblings, Jack, Jimmy, Don Starnes and Wilma Kiker; and his stepmother Margie Starnes.

He is survived by: his wife Dallas Starnes; his children, Larry Starnes Jr. (Sherry) of Conover and Sabrina Anderson (Joel) of Stony Point; his brothers, Thomas Starnes, Amos Lee Starnes and Hank Starnes; and his sons, Shannon, Tommy, Richard and Randall.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery (650 Mock Mill Rd, Statesville, NC 28677).
