It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Edward Cass of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Radford Edward Cass and Novella Chatham Cass; and his siblings, Danny Cass, Thomas Cass and Carolyn Cass Wilhelm.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Cass (LuRae), Darrell Cass (Deryn), Leon Cass (Pam) and Jan Cass Porter (Billy); his caregiver Kristi Land; his grandchildren, Rylie and Kaylee Land; and his caregiver Becky Hartline. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grassy Knob Baptist Church (333 Grassy Knob Rd, Union Grove, NC 28689). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Grassy Knob Baptist Church Cemetery (333 Grassy Knob Rd, Union Grove, NC 28689).
