He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Davis and Ida Lester Davis; his son Lacie Davis, Jr.; his grandchildren, Nekeisha Stacy and Christopher Lee; his siblings, Laura, Lonzo, Lawrence and Jimmy Davis; and his grandparents, William, Louise Lester, Leander and Molly Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Bean (Gary) of Asheboro, NC, Kimberly Gale Atkinson (Robert) of Jolo, WV, Erin Christine Faw (John), Kenneth Davis of Statesville, NC and James Davis (Jodi); his fiancé Beverly Crowl; and his siblings, Lois Wrightson (Faughn), Lonnie Davis (Freda) of Grundy, VA, Leonard Davis (Molly) of Grundy, VA, Leroy Davis (Linda) of Grundy, VA, Luther Davis (Ola) of Pilgrims Knob, VA and Lowell Davis (Uki) of Fort Mills, SC.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
