He was predeceased by: his parents, Zola Eller Maines and Clifford Frederick Maines; and his brother Clifford Maines. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Maines; his children, Kenny Maines (Debbie) of High Point, Donald Maines of Oak Ridge, Jimmy Maines (April) of Thomasville, Kristina Frazier (Jeff) of Holly Springs and Joe Maines of Charlotte; and his brother Winston Maines (Betty) of Thomasville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
