He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Delmar Marsh and Erma Perry Marsh; his daughter Denise Elizabeth Marsh Holcomb; and his sister Margaret Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Doris Elizabeth Wadkins Marsh; his granddaughters, Emily M. Holcomb, Lillian Marsh Van Pelt (Nelson) and Tiffany Marsh Acosta (Jose); and his great grandchildren, Sebastian Acosta, Victoria Van Pelt, Mia Acosta, Alexander Van Pelt and Jenevecia Acosta.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South River Baptist Church, 2569 S. Chipley Ford Road, Statesville, NC 28625-8712 (tel:286258-8712).
