He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine White Goforth; his son Rodney Keith Goforth, Jr. (Heather); his grandson Caleb David Goforth (Maggie); his brothers, Tony Wayne Goforth (Sherri) and Rev. Douglas Lynn Goforth (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Brian, Brandon Goforth, Ashley Maiers and Kelly O'Neal (Richard); his great-niece Evelynn Maiers; and his aunts, Sue Cook and Doris Williard.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Iredell Memorial Park (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
