With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Arrington of Statesville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Karen has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sharpe and Mary Ellen Windsor Sharpe; and her sister-in-law Carol Sharpe. She is survived by: her husband Lester Arrington; her children, Krystal Arrington and Russell Arrington (Jenny); and her brothers, Dennis Sharpe (Alice) and Ron Sharpe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hebron Baptist Church (175 Hebron Rd, Statesville, NC 28625). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hematology and Oncology Cancer Center, 3rd Floor, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
