He was predeceased by: his father John J. O'Connell, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Georgeann Unser O'Connell; his children, John George O'Connell (Michelle), Peter James O'Connell (Jenny) and Christie O'Connell Omasta (John); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Amanda, Patrick, Sarah, Elizabeth, Peter, Nason, Madeline, Benjamin and Charles. He is also survived by four siblings.
