It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Franklin Williams of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Angel and Jean Gladden Williams; his grandchildren, Jai Williams and Pierr D'Mario Williams, Jr.; his grandparents, Gene and Sara Williams; and his siblings, Jerry Chambers, Mark Chambers, James Angel, Andrew Angel, Ruth Mattox and Marjorie Rankin.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Clark Williams; his children, Adrienne Yvonne, Algernon Christie, Anthony Williams (Nakira Blakenly), Jonathan Williams and Mario Williams (Teresa); and his siblings, Richard Chambers (Susan), Melvin Chambers (Crystal), Frank J. Chambers and Sally Angel. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and neighbors.
