Though Joe Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joe Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulan Gantt and Grace Warren Gantt; and his brother Donald Glenn Gantt. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Young Gantt of Statesville; his daughter Michelle Anderson (Lynn) of Statesville; and his grandsons, Ty Anderson and Lucas Anderson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
