It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Edward Goodin (Statesville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Jordan Goodin and Thomas Haywood; his wife Linda Sharpe Goodin; and his brothers, Thomas "Tommy" Haywood Jr. and Johnny Alvin Goodin (Shelba).
He is survived by: his sons, David Edward (Kelly) and Henry Daniel Goodin; his grandchildren, Wesley Eugene (Ashley) of Harmony, NC, Elizabeth Nicole (Wade) of Oxford, MS and Victoria Lynn (Eric) of Statesville, NC; his sister-in-law Margie Goodin (Lorie Auton); and also, Joe and Linda. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
