He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Rankin Cloaninger and Jettie Ostwalt Cloaninger; his wife Julia Anne Wilson Cloaninger; and his siblings, Frank Cloaninger, Max Cloaninger, Hazel McNeely and Margaret Flynt.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Cloaninger (Marion) of Vilas, Trent Cloaninger (Marcy) of Statesville and Janet Cloaninger of Atlanta, Georgia; his stepgranddaughters, Amy and Savannah Squibb; and his caregiver Karen Morris. He is also survived by 3 step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Iredell Memorial Gardens.
