He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Bell Sherrill and J. W. Sherrill Masonry; and his brother James "Jim" Sherrill (Masonry). He is survived by: his wife Judy Deal Sherrill; his children, Jeff Sherrill, Teresa (Darrell Summers), Jody Sherrill (Debra) and Tamara Sherrill; his granddaughters, Taylor Summers, Macy and Maggie Sherrill; and his sister Cindy Kress (Kenneth).
