With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Dean Wright of Statesville, North Carolina, born in Pageland, South Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jerry Dean departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jerry Dean. Though Jerry Dean may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Wright and Beulah Summerford; and his brother John Wright. He is survived by: his son Jerry D. Wright, Jr.; his grandchildren, Trenton Wright (Telsey) and Kelsey Wright (Brianna); his great grandchild Mason Wright; and his sister Shirley Seacrest (Barry).
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nicholson Funeral Home (135 E Front St, Statesville, NC 28677).
