He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey S. Benfield Jr. (Benny) and Barbara Gregory Benfield. He is survived by: his pet Loki; his wife Elizabeth Deal Benfield; his children, Daniel Benfield (Samantha) and Jennifer Jessup (David); his grandchildren, Uriah Benfield, Eden Benfield, Shiloh Benfield, Abigail Scott, Jack Scott, Luke Jessup and Miles Jessup; and his siblings, Randy Benfield (Ronda), Retha Davis (Kevin) and Kristina Ferri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
