He was predeceased by: his mother Bonita Kay Bandy Davis; his grandmother Lillian Gilbert Bandy; his stepchildren, Matthew Wayne Waddell, Ashley Nicole and Crystal Dawn; and his father-in-law George Burrow.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Davis; his siblings, Michelle "Missy" Sorenson of Catawba, Crystal Miller (Bryan) of Denver, Chuck Collinsworth of South Carolina and Jed Collinsworth of Catawba; his mother-in-law Belia Burrow of Mocksville; his sisters-in-law, Lois Brown (Don) of Mocksville and Linda Speaks (James) of Statesville; his nieces and nephews, Randall "Smokey" Wright (Tonya), Chris Sorenson (Amy Franklin), Jacob Miller, Brandon Lester (Amanda), Donnie Brown, Brian Speaks (Jennifer), Kayla Patterson (Nick), Tessa Miller and Casey Collinsworth (Michael Smith); his cousin Danny Evans; and his close friend Wayne Childress. He is also survived by Numerous Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews and Cousins.
