With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Lawing Thornton of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sinclair Lawing and Eunice Broome Lawing; and her husband John William Thornton. She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Thornton Ellenburg and Pam Aman (Charlie); her grandchildren, Erin Owens and Kevin Aman; her great grandchild Cooper Owens; and her pet Ollie.
