She was predeceased by: her parents, William Garner and Frances Clorina Garner; and her son Jarvis T. Garner. She is survived by: her husband Walter Charles Hogue; her daughters, Adrian D. Hogue of Taylorsville and Ebony C. Hogue of Statesville; her stepdaughter Latoya N. Abel of Salisbury; her adoptive daughter Karess Arnold of Mocksville; her grandchildren, Jarvis Jacobs, Zaiden Jacobs, Maddison Brooks, Tiana White, Khaleah Scott, Keiari Hogue, Justin Brown, Jr. and Alani Allen; and her close friends, Marilyn Rice, Vashti Brown-McClelland and Rachel Parks.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service (953 Salisbury Rd, Mocksville, NC 27028). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater New Mt. Olive Church (2509 E Greenbriar Rd, Statesville, NC 28625). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Greater New Mt. Olive Church (2509 E Greenbriar Rd, Statesville, NC 28625). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2000 E Greenbriar Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
