She is survived by: her mother Peggy Nixon Poole of Troutman; her husband Duane Wesley McDonald; her children, Duane Wesley McDonald II (Raven) of Statesville, Joseph Poole of Kentucky, Crystal Ann McDonald of Sylva, NC and Jessica Poole of Troutman; and her siblings, Sydney Poole of Kentucky, Barry Poole of Salisbury, Allan Poole of Troutman, Roger Poole of Mooresville, Nancy Vanhoy of Faith, NC and Donna Nixon of Cleveland, NC. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
