He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ramsey and Ollie Mae Fisher Ramsey; and his siblings, William L. Ramsey, Sr., Arthur Ramsey, Barnie Ramsey, Charles Ramsey, Everett Ramsey, Thomas Ramsey, Mary Frances Howard and Mae Helen Kiser.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Ramsey; his daughters, Sharon Ramsey Ellis, NJ, Teresa Ramsey Johnson (Keith) of Charlotte, NC and Zena Ramsey (Taryn Ramsey); his grandchildren, Brianna Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Mya'Johnson of Charlotte, NC, Ciniah Rosby of Statesville, NC and Darius Ellis; his great grandchild Davian Ellis; his sister Margaret Ramsey McClelland of Statesville; his sisters-in-law, Eddie Bell Grant of Statesville and Roberta Ramsey of Las Vegas; his nephew Michael McClelland of Statesville, NC; and his friend Bobby Houston of Cleveland, NC. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, church family, friends.
