We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2024, at the age of 78, James Plyler of Statesville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Revere Plyler and Ruby Plyler Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Dowell Plyler; his daughters, Kimberly Ownbey (Randy) of Olin and Rhonda Sloan (Brad) of Olin; and his grandsons, Clayton Ownbey (Victoria) and Connor Hobbs.
