He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Lester Jenkins and Hattie Augustus Jenkins; his daughter Teresa Jenkins; and his pets, Pepper and Trouble Spots.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Mayberry Jenkins; his daughters, Denise Wooten and Jan Rodecker (Von) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Haley Brewer (Sean), Brittany Sharpe, Cody Ward (Kelly), Madison Weber, Taylor Weber, Michaela Joyce, Hunter Joyce and Ashley Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Bryson Ward, Shayla Brewer and Haven Brewer; and his close friends, Rambo and Bubba.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mark Baptist Church (1852 Wilkesboro Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the South Yadkin Baptist Church (2980 Wilkesboro Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625).
In lieu of flowers and memorials may be given to Purple Heart Homes (755 Washington Ave., Statesville, NC 28677).
