He was predeceased by: his parents, John Reid Billings and Pernie Mae Mize Billings; his stepmother Cora Billings; his sons, Michael Scott and Joel Ray Billings; and his brother Butch Billings.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie B. Freeze (Jeff) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Brad Freeze (Lara), Josh Billings, Michael Billings, Kristen Freeze and Lauren Thompson; and his daughter-in-law Kelly Eagle. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
