She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lawrence Whitfield and Mattie Locke Whitfield; her husband Robert Marion Tolar; and her siblings, Helen Danley, Hazel Whitfield, Simone Whitfield, Jack Whitfield, Norman Whitfield and Rex Whitfield.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Sue Tolar Doty (Drake) of Statesville, NC, Eugene Tolar (Jane) of Clayton, GA and Tony Tolar (Debbie) of LaBelle, FL; her brothers, Ralph Whitfield of Bristol, FL and Eddie Wayne Whitfield of Ashford, AL; her grandchildren, Eric Tolar (Beth Ann), Ashley Nance (Jerrod), Tonie Marie Garcia (Chris), Corie Sawatzky (Jacob) and Casey Fry (Elena); and her great grandchildren, Lyla, Brock, Sadie Grace, Easton, Lawson, Raylan, Zaiden, Blaze and Cody.
