Hazel left this world on March 12, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Franklin White and Margaret Nancy Scott White. She is survived by: her daughter Missy White of Statesville; her stepchildren, Lakesha King (Darryl), Roderick Williams and Jerry Williams; her grandson Karter Holmes of Statesville; her stepgrandchildren, Ciera King, Destiny Scott and Roderick Williams, Jr.; her siblings, Annie Ruth White, Roosevelt White, Mary Helen White Daye, Charles White, Deborah White and Anita Gray; and her close friends, Ethelene Woods (Larry), Barbara Burke, Deanne McCall and LaShay Gray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Piedmont, Inc. (1424 Rickert St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
