He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Stroud and Mae Evans Stroud; and his wife Judith Cox Stroud. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Jackson and Laura Traylor (Jeff); his grandsons, Eric and Andrew "Drew" of High Point; his brother Harley Stroud of Statesville; his son David Gary Stroud; and his siblings, Robert "Pete" Stroud, Charles "Jack" Stroud and Earlene Spranza. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Society Baptist Church Cemetery (879 Garden Valley Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
