With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guy Edwin Haddix of Statesville, North Carolina, born in Philippi, West Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Guy Edwin Haddix to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father James Guy; his sons, Kirk Haddix and Josh Haddix; and his siblings, Ralph Haddix, Earl Haddix, Edith Carman and Barbara Spotloe.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Childers; his children, Mark Haddix (Lauren), Holli Rainwater (Kevin) and Chad Haddix; his grandchildren, Lily, Niki, Luke, Clay, Gabe, Daniel, Michael, Kirk, Lochlan and Drennen; and also Shawn Fraver (Erin). He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to either West Virginia University's School of Dentistry.
