He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred "Alf" Bunton and Onor Gaye McCurdy Bunton; and his brothers, Everette Bunton and John David Bunton. He is survived by: his wife Minnie Lee Fox Bunton; his children, Franklin Conway Bunton (Teresa) of Statesville, William Todd Bunton (Sharon) of Statesville and Teresa Bunton Stewart (Mark) of Statesville; his siblings, Leonard Bunton (Shirley) of Statesville and Mary Bunton Emery of Statesville; his grandchildren, Andrea Stewart Williams (Travis), Jonathan Stewart, Matthew Bunton and Aaron Bunton; and his great grandchildren, Connor Nixon and Riker Williams.
