He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Franklin Frye and Dorothy Bowman Frye Misenheimer; and his siblings, Kathy Frye Baity and Stephen Franklin Frye. He is survived by: his wife Darlene King Frye; his sons, Mark Frye (Jennifer), Clark Frye and Preston "Shorty" Frye (Melanie); his grandchildren, Hailey Simmons (Shaun), Paige Woodside (Alec), Payton Hendershot (Dylan), Lainie Matthews (Brayson) and Charlie Frye; and his great grandchildren, Lira Simmons, Callie Woodside, Phoebe Hendershot, Evelyn Matthews and Sophie Woodside.
