He was predeceased by: his father Jack Eldridge; and his siblings, Earl, Alvin Eldridge and Mary Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Effie Eldridge; his children, Frankie Eldridge (Brenda) of Easley, SC, Melissa "Cissy" Eldridge of Statesville and Nita Eldridge (Lee) of Laurel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Bryan Eldridge (Beth) of Easley, SC, Amanda Emory (Justin) of Easley, SC, Eric Cook of Stony Point, Travis Cook of Statesville, Nikki Moose (Andrew) of Stony Point, Chad Eldridge of Statesville, Rod Mayfield of Statesville and Greg Eldridge (Kerri) of Statesville; and his sister Ruth Profitt. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
