It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Moten of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alexander Bruner and Genevieve Morrison Bruner; her husband Paul Moten; her brothers, George Bruner and Alexander M. Bruner (Sonny); and her cousin Margaret Parker.
She is survived by: her son Paul Vincent Moten (Yolanda); her sister Kathy Bruner Rankin; her nieces and nephews, Jomo Rankin, Wanda Bruner Saner, Paula Bruner, Sherry Bruner, Millicent Bruner and Richard Bruner (Angie); and her cousins, Evie Myers (Deland), Renee Moore, Anita Linney, Virginia Morrison (Cookie) and Jerry Morrison.
