She was predeceased by: her husbands, Kenneth Grant Cain of Statesville, NC and Ralph Fox of Taylorsville, NC; her parents, Mary Irene Grant and Roy Lee Grant; and her siblings, Donald Grant, Ray Grant, Norman Grant of Statesville, NC and Joan Fulp of Statesville, NC..
She is survived by: her children, Samantha Lackey (Jeff) of Statesville, NC, Brigitte Ferriera (Chris) of Cheyenne, WY and Jonathan Cain of Taylorsville, NC; her favorite fur-childrens, Jackson and Bryn; her extended family, Allen Fox (Ann), Kay Stracner (Butch) and Janet Fields (Ray); her sister Sylvia Lacey of Statesville, NC; her sister-in-law Marjorie Grant of Moravian Falls, NC; her grandson Bryan Lackey (Brittany) of Black Mountain, NC; her family, Lindsey Lackey of Statesville, NC, Kenneth Ferriera of Lincoln, NE, Colin and Eric Fields; and her great grandchildren, Lilly, Holly and Grace. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home (705 Davie Ave, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Broad Street Church of Christ (2172 Wilkesboro Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625).
Donations may be made in Faye's memory to Broad Street Church of Christ in Statesville; Liledoun Road Church of Christ in Taylorsville; or the Alexander County Senior Center in Taylorsville.
