She was predeceased by: her father James McCaney. She is survived by: her mother Hattie McCaney Boyd; her spouse Willie Stevenson, Jr.; her children, William Allen Stevenson of Statesville and Rheebe Stevenson of Winston Salem; her stepchildren, Vincent Cockerham of Mocksville and Jennifer Stevenson of Mocksville; her siblings, James McCaney, Jr. (Wanda), Paul McCaney (Dawn), Jerry McCaney (Tish), Mary William (Lorenzo), Cora Gillyard, Lola Smith, Pamela Berg (Douglas) and Alice Youngblood (Billy); her grandchildren, Briana Heller, Alannah Heller, Zamari White, Maia Stevenson and Samuel Stevenson; her stepgrandchildren, Maleia Stevenson Brown, Jordan McDaniel and Madisyn Cockerham; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Shania Brown and Safyia Brown; and her sisters-in-law, Cynthia Campbell (Dennis) and Eura Stevenson. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary (603 S Center St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
