He is survived by: his wife Margaret Dulin Johnson; his son Eddie Johnson Jr.; his stepchildren, Kyonte Davidson and Ziya Dulin; his mother-in-law Mary Hewitt; his godchild Ahueri Reyes; his siblings, Larry Johnson (Brenda), Marion Johnson, Randy Johnson, Terry Johnson, Crystal Clement and Sherry Diggs (Brian); his siblings-in-law, Greg Dulin, Shane Turner (Vickie), Josh McCullough (Kendra), Barbara Glover and Anita Turner; his aunt Barbara Walls of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Amber Joyce (Josh) of Charlotte, NC, Destiny Johnson of Statesville, NC, Whitney Johnson of Statesville, NC, Zackery Johnson of Statesville, NC, Alexander Johnson of Statesville, NC, Kenneth Marino of Statesville, NC, Gael Johnson of Juarez and Mexico; his niece Whitney Turner; and his friend John Feimster. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
