She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben W. Johnson and Maggie Taylor Johnson; her husband Glenn Shew; and her siblings, Bristol Reece Johnson, Robert James Johnson and Rachel Laymon.
She is survived by: her son Bristol Wayne Shew (Evelyn) of Statesville; her granddaughter Kimberly Hartman Barkley (Rick); her son Glenn Scott Shew (Lisa) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Megan Alyse Shew, Allison Shew Trull (Drew) and Dawson Scott Shew; and also Saylor Kate Trull.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 349 Turnersburg Hwy., Statesville, NC 28625.
