She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Herman Carroll and Ida Lillian Cardwell Carroll; her husband Ulysses Alvin Goforth; her siblings, Ann Hendrix, Shirley Wyatt, Jones Carroll, Clyde Carroll and Paul Carroll; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Lovette and Tom Hendrix.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Loyd (Dorman) of Statesville; her grandson Bryan Loyd (Tabatha) of Statesville; her great grandchildren, Lucian Loyd, Winter Loyd and John Ryker Loyd of Statesville; her sisters, Brenda Wilson (Ken) of Statesville, Colean Lovette of Wilkesboro, Frances Key (David) of North Wilkesboro and Kay Sebastian (Ken) of Moravian Falls; and her brother-in-law James Wyatt of Boone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
