She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Benfield and Sue Cook Benfield; and her brother Allen Benfield. She is survived by: her husband Steve Maness; and her aunt Patricia Yelton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166).
