He is survived by: his mother Renee Peet Stephens of Troutman, NC; his children, Desmond Bellanmy of Troutman, NC, Essence Whitesides of Hickory, NC and Dezeray Whitesides of Woodbridge, VA; his siblings, Terrence Peet of Woodbridge, VA, Anthony Peet of Woodbridge, VA, Derrick Turner of Greensboro, NC and Margie Harriston of Statesville; his aunts and uncles, Gary Peet, Charles Peet, Robert Whitesides, Bishop Aljamel Stephens (Penny), Celia Gentry, Sandra Johnson, Margie Peet Oden, Margaret Keaton, Geneva Gray (Harvey), Mamie Whitesides, Grace Whitesides and Eva Whitesides Corry; and his close friend Bobby Renwrick, Jr..
