It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derera Shonte Chambers of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Chambers and Tracy Satterfield Lazenby (Bobby); his siblings, Phillip Tucker (Bethany), Kenyana Chambers and Phyllis Renee Scott; and his grandmother Ruby Connor. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
