She is survived by: her husband Edward Thomas; her children, Brian McCann (Sarah), Eric McCann (Sharon) and Maggie Hesson (Jerrod); her stepdaughter-in-law Melissa Thomas; her siblings, Ronald Fox (Candace) and Charlyn Green (Eric); and her grandchildren, Zoe Canfield, Olivia McCann, Maximus McCann, Connor McCann, Lucas McCann, Jaden Hesson, Julianne Hesson, George Hesson, JD Thomas, Matthew Thomas and Dakotah Thomas. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (962 Old US Hwy 70, Black Mountain, NC 28711).
