She was predeceased by: her mother Suma Pope Lambert (Fox); and her husband Clarence E. Bennett. She is survived by: her father Fairley R. Pope of Taylorsville; her brothers, Danny Pope and Darren Pope (Cheryl); her stepbrother Rev Connor Lambert; her stepchildren, Christopher Brown (Valerie) of Statesville, Brian Brown of Hiddenite and Kenyana White (Vernon) of Wilkesboro; her mother-in-law Florence B. Wilson; her siblings-in-law, Frances Blount of Taylorsville, Betty Bennett of Statesville, Eartha Hoover (George) of Statesville, Kim Stuart of Capital, MD, Willie and Jonathan Bennett; and her close friends, Gene T. Moore and Harvey Lackey. She is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren, other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
