He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob B. Parker and Mattie Bell Clark Parker; his wife Ella Mae Parker; and his siblings, John Parker, Phillip Parker, Jesse Parker, Paul Parker, Reuben Parker, Mae Parker Mutz of Florida, Jannie Parker Cain and Mattie Parker Sharpe.
He is survived by: his children, David W. Parker of Bowie, MD and Peggy A. Parker of Decatur, GA; his sister Lucy Parker Mills of Mooresville, NC.; his brothers-in-law, Furman C. Sharpe (Esther) of Simpsonville, SC and Charles Kenneth (Virginia) of Charlotte; his godsons, Keith Parker (LaQuita) of Crestview, FL and Jermel Stewart of Statesville; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Parker of Mooresville, Mary Lois Parker of Mooresville and Magdalene Davis of Statesville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
