He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Preston and Dorothy Church Martin; his brother James Martin; and his sister-in-law Gloria Martin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Evans Martin; his children, Rev. Michael Martin and Pamela Martin; his brother Johnny Martin; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Cleary (Roger), Kay Wright (Walter), Linda Anderson (Charles), Lorraine Lambert (David) and Brenda Martin.
