He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Barksdale and Rubye Haskett Barksdale Brown; his wife Bellva Pinkerton Barksdale; and his brother Brian Barksdale. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Stevens of Statesville and Jan Rodriguez (Rex Ferguson) of Cistern, TX; his grandchildren, Shannon Stevens, Timothy Stafford, Erica Walker (Alex) and Lindsey Stevens; and his siblings, Buddy Barksdale (Karen) and Clysta Plumberg (Dave).
