It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Ray Stikeleather Sr. of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Brown Stikeleather and Rachel Irene Clanton Stikeleather; his former wife Virginia Mayberry Stikeleather; and his sons, Aubrey Dion Stikeleather and Danny Ray Stikeleather, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Ginny Stikeleather; his siblings, Shirley S. Clendenin (Joe) and Dr. Larry Franklin Stikeleather (Ruth Ann); and his stepchildren, Joel Johnson and Julie Wozniak (Paul). He is also survived by six step-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
