It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Joe Vannoy (Statesville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daniel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Vannoy and Geraldine Vannoy. He is survived by: his great-nephew Adam Nunn (Marissa); his cousins, Kay Boan and Eddie Porter; and also Sam Nunn.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - High Point (1015 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Society Baptist Church Cemetery (879 Garden Valley Rd, Statesville, NC 28625).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
