She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Franklin Stroud and Bessie York Stroud; her husband Fred Pressly Clarke; her son Buddy Ray Clarke; and her siblings, Dorothy Stroud Steelman and Ruben Stroud.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Clarke Sigmon of Statesville, Karon Clarke Shew (Johnny) of Jonesville, NC and Freddie B. Clarke (Kim) of Mooresville; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Shane Harmon (Sarah), Alisha D. Harmon and Amber C. Henry.
