He is survived by : his wife Alice Tester Hoyle; his children, Jason Clyde Hoyle (Stephanie) of Statesville, Shelia Gail Good (Alan) of Lincolnton, Teresa Ann Bean (Danny) of Granite Falls and Sharon Elizabeth Smith (Randy) of Vale; his siblings, Wayne Hoyle (Virginia) of Lincolnton, Abby Shook of Connelly Springs and Mozelle Ward (Harold) of Connelly Springs; and his grandchildren, Heather, Brian, Amber, Ryan, Alisha, Ben, Jeremy, Katie, Lauren, Chloe, Hunter, Isabella and Taylor.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at 1928 NC-10 Hwy, Newton, NC 28658. A memorial service was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Apostolic Tabernacle (1928 W North Carolina 10 Hwy, Newton, NC 28658).
